WHere is a simplified version of a drink found on the seasonal drinks list. Designed as a party-sized premix which is loaded with flavours of the Christmas time, which makes it perfect for a festive gathering. Save the extra cordial to use in morning drinks, sweets, or for more rounds of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 guests
To make the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Drink (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
To prepare the Syrup: Put every items into a pot, bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the stove and let it to cool down entirely. Transfer into a clean bottle, close it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it can be stored for up to a month.
To make Batch Mix: Pour the specified liquid ingredients in a sizeable container, let it rest for one hour, then pass it through best through a fine cloth, so it's perfectly clear.
To serve: Add 85ml from the premix into your mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring carefully for a minute to chill. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
